Twice a year, in September and January, the current jewellery trends are presented on the international jewellery show, BIJORHCA in Paris. For September 2017, fashion jewellery, fine jewellery and watches will be mixed up, as imagined by Elizabeth Leriche design consultancy, in the Fashion Trends area to interpret and illustrate all the Fall-Winter 2017/18 trends. These pieces have been selected from exhibitors collections. This season is an invitation to a journey in three different worlds.
Garden of Eden /Jardin d’Eden/
This theme represents a trend of an elegant, sensual woman who delights in re-purposing tradition and gets inspired by the nature’s luxuriant bounty. The colours range includes floral and vegetal like pink, fuchsia, raspberry, and moss or night. Gold, cultured pearls, strass or trimmings and ribbons are the principal materials used.
« Jardin d’Eden takes us back to nature. We have designed a luscious backdrop for exuberant, sophisticated, intricately-worked jewellery – a pearl necklace, strass insect brooch, a bird of paradise made from feathers and sequins – combining the unconventional with all things natural. » Elizabeth Leriche

Silk Road /Route de la Soie/
The Silk Road takes you on a journey of discovery, in search of forgotten treasures. The palette of colours consists of warm and spicy ones including copper, peacock, mustard, brick red and camel. Materials of pieces, such as copper, antique gold, amber or horn, are mixed up to create a modern folksy feel.
« This trend is a crossing of cultures, inspired by traditional know-how and craftsmanship. The sculptural pieces combine natural stone with sophisticated materials, embroidery, precious fabrics and animal prints. » Elizabeth Leriche

Space Odyssey /Odyssée de l’Espace/
These jewelleries were inspired by the cosmos with its contrasting colours, black and white with shiny silver touches. Silvered metal, resin, porcelain, glass paste or plexiglass form designer pieces with futuristic lines for a unique avant-garde style.
« Our fascination for the cosmos, stars and planets takes you on a Space Odyssey, pushing back the frontiers of the imagination and taking the creative world resolutely into the future. New shapes are born from innovative materials and technologies, for a journey into a bold and bright future. » Elizabeth Leriche
